Hello. My name’s Javier. I worked with computers all my life. When I was around 10 years old, I got my first, a Timex Sinclair 1000. That was 1983, 40 years ago! With only 2k of RAM, there wasn’t much to do there other than coding. And I got hooked for life.
In my professional life, I worked as a developer, software engineer, system administrator and DBA. I always found joy in it.
Now I am working independently as a software developer. My current tools are Objective-C, Swift, Typescript/Javascript, Angular, Vapor, HTML, MySQL, Arduino and everything that gets into my way to help me solve a problem.
At the moment, one of those tools in my way, is SwiftUI. With it, it came the challenge to understand the tons of hidden and undocumented features. An so it begins my journey as a blogger… welcome to the site!
